🎧 A-Level Computer Science Podcast – Supporting Student Revision
Over the past year I’ve been building something alongside my teaching that I hope will genuinely help students.
I’ve created an A-Level Computer Science revision podcast designed specifically for OCR and AQA students, breaking down complex topics into clear, structured explanations that students can revisit whenever they need.
Each episode focuses on a specific concept from the specification — from algorithms and data structures to AI, networking, and databases — helping students reinforce their understanding outside the classroom.
One interesting aspect of the project is that the podcast is AI-assisted. Episodes are generated using AI, but with significant human input, editing, and quality checks to ensure the explanations remain accurate, clear, and aligned with the exam specifications.
What I particularly like about the podcast format is that it allows students to revise while walking, travelling, or taking a break from screens, which many have found helpful during busy revision periods.
